To verify your computer is properly set up to connect to Sea WiFi please do the



1. Click the start button and go to control panel.



2. Once in the control panel click on Network Connections.



3. Double click on the wireless network connection.




4. On wireless network connection status window click on properties.




5. On the wireless network connection properties window. Highlight internet protocol(TCP/IP)

     Then click on properties.



6. In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties, you will be able to see the settings for your computer. Make sure that you write down any of the settings before they are deleted. Select

the following options (marked with the red arrow).

    * Obtain an IP Address Automatically

    * Obtain DNS Server Address automatically


Click the Advanced Button…



7. Clicking the Advanced button, click on the DNS tab and make sure that the there are no IP addresses listed in this option. DNS suffix for this connection section should also be empty.




 8.Click on the WINS tab and make sure this is also empty.

     Click OK for the settings to take effect.


9. Go back to the Network Connections and right click on  the Wireless Network Connections.  10.After clicking on the View Available Wireless Network, the viewer will pop up here and you will be able to see all the available Wireless Networks, near to you. Click on the SEAWIFI and hit the connect button. You will be able to see a message on the Network Connection saying (Now Acquiring IP address) and then (Connected)







11. Open you browser. A Security Certificate will pop up. Click on the Yes button and the web login page will appear.




12. Type in your Sea WiFi credentials (User Name and Password) to access the internet or any network resources that might apply to you.
